Cloe's Photos

I adopted Chloe in August 2004. As you can see, she is a gorgeous kitty. She was very hissy, and that never changed, but we realized fast that we didn't need to fear those hisses. She never bit. She did hit me in the face 2x the day I brought her home...but since she was declawed it didn't hurt. Though she was hissy, and afraid of people she didn't know, she was extremely sweet and loving. She also had a straw fetish. Every single day she would steal the straw from my cup. She loved to play with them and chew on them...I think she liked the Diet Pepsi flavor too.

She was a fat butterball. Very beautiful

You will notice I speak of her in the past tense. While I really wanted her to work out, she just was not suited for my home. She wanted to be the only cat and she would not use the litter box. Not even when she was given her own room. When she was given her own room she decided to use the bed as her litterbox...and she wouldn't stop.

So I found her a new home as an only cat. The lady had a very expensive self cleaning (like with water and a blow dryer! and it hooked up in the utility room). She had full warning of why I had to find her a new home. I don't know if full disclosure was really given to me regarding Chloe's history when I adopted her, but I wanted to try to find her a FOREVER home...and to me that meant telling why she had to go. The woman who adopted her never contacted me again to tell me how it all worked out...maybe I should call her one day... but as long as I don't I can believe everything is wonderful for her in her new home... I do miss her, but Trinity was here first and she definately isn't going anywhere.
