Sidney was named after one of my favorite authors, Sidney Sheldon. I thought Sidney would work well for a girl or a boy and the last name is great for a turtle too! I won't know for a long time if she is a she or a he...but I am calling her a she for now. I bought her from a local breeder named Christie in April 2004. She is a hatchling that had only recently come out of the ground...so she is approximately 6 months old.
