<Humor in Sketches>

The wording is the fun of these sketches by Adriane Hughes. Tasuki is saying"Everything's cooler with fire".

The caption with Chichiri's profiles says "The floating, disembodied head of Chichiri."

The Chichiri facing us says "Arigato no da Tomodachi".

Here Adriane has Hotohori in his emperor's clothing saying "I'm so pretty, it's scary".

The Hotohori in casual robe is captioned by Adriane "No wonder Miaka thought he was a girl."

I think this one is also done by Adriane by there's no signature on this one.

Maybe it's just me but I get the feeling from these type of sketches of Egyptian art...a simple, sweet elegance all their own.

The smudging on the art is due to the folds and reproduction process only and not part of the art itself.

This one is by Danny Chesnut. He says on the back of the art "Maybe I shouldn't write in pen ^_^."

It started out okay, but I made the bottom half of his body just a bit too small (now he looks British)".

The English fans are going to get a kick out of that comment!

Tabitha Duffy (now Collins) doodling while writing a note on a Pharmaceutical Company message board.

This is SO Tabitha. Unconciously she'll find anything nearby to doodle on. This one was done with a black marker pen.

It's easy to tell this is Koishikawa Miki in one of Miki's worry modes.

Don't ya think ALL art should have a grocery list and the Rynatan logo?!!

I don't think you'll be able to read all the the comments that JB put in. But my favorite is the computer holding out a video tape "Hello, my name is Bruce". The poor buggy eyed face of JB is thinking "No way..." That's a bit like I've felt in the past about never getting to meet the fans...just words..are they really there, or is this part of my imagination?

I can't remember how many Christmases ago that this was done, but Robin's Christmas list includes "Marrying Tama-chan". Looks like my guess "Someone's Wishful Thinking", Robin's drawing in the Lead Pencil Section, isn't too far off.
