Loki was bought from a local breeder (Christie) here in Houston. He is approximately 4 years old. Christie says he may be a mixed breed (three-toed and eastern) because of how much coloring there is on his shell.

He was named after the angel Loki in Kevin Smith's movie Dogma.

Here you can see his tummy is slightly concave.
