Lola was named after my adorable cousin Mattie's favorite babydoll. My other cousins, Matthew and Jay found her for me. She is a friendsly girl. Her shell was painted on with fingernail polish, which is nearly gone now. She was found in August 2004 and she hibernated and woke up with an Upper Respritory Infection. She was on antibiotics and she had to have swollen ears lanced, but she never lost her appetite and is just about fully healed now. pictures were taken May 14, 2005. |
