I also enjoyed that bit on your thought about Fansubbing.
It was very entertaining and I feel the same way about how it's
interesting finding that many people have unique and different
interpretations when fansubbing. Also how some have the same
interpretations and moods as well. Also I found the shadows of
people and the helicopters passing the screen to change the scene
very amusing as well =) One last thing I wanted to mention is
that me and my brothers feel that you guys are on the Best Fansubbers
Out there. Even though we just started getting into fansubs we
feel that you guys along with many other fansubbers do a very
outstanding job. From all that you do it shows that you buys
put a lot of heart and devotion into anime. It also shows all
the hard work you do for us fans as well. All these things are
what my younger brothers and myself admire and respect in you
guys. I just had to let you guys know that. Keep up the great
work and Thanks again!"

"...But remember, you are the mother who gave
birth to MB and FY. And in a very real sense, your children were/are
beautiful. We sense the love, the humor, and kindness in your
works. Thank you for giving my husband and me so many hours of
joy and happiness."

"My first experience with Tomodachi subs
was a few days ago when I borrowed the first 7 volumes of Fushigi
Yuugi from a friend. I was quite impressed not only with the
excellent quality of the tape itself, but also with the lengths
you guys went to to provide all the "extra" explanations
and editorial notes. That kind of commitment really makes a huge
difference, and I means a lot of us fans who might not otherwise
catch the jokes and special significance of certain names and
events (end quarter Japanese can only take one so far... ^_^).
Thanks again for all you do for the anime community and I wish
you best of luck in the future!"

"Thanks to all your hard work and love; would
you believe that Fushigi is the reason I've fallen in love with
anime all over again? Anyways, I don't want to clutter your correspondence
with things you probably don't care about -- a tale for another
day, perhaps. I aslo ant to pass along the thanks of the members
of the Harvard Anime Society, who have really taken to both FY
and Marmalade Boy

Thank you... Arigato... I have been an anime fans
for about fours years, and in all that time I never wrote any
subtitler like this and expressed my gratitude... until now.
How can you express the amount of sheer joy someone can give
in mere words... you really can't. I have watched about 4 tapes
of Fushigi Yuugi and I must say... I can only say... thank you..."

Hi! Our names are Chau, Frances, Janice, and
Erin. We're sorry if this is really bugging you, but we just
wanted to say thank you for all you've done. It's so cool that
you do this for the fans and you are even so sweet through everything.
Like all your messages on the fansubbed tapes. They're cute!
Just a thought: You know what's stupid? We were talking
about writing you a letter and mailing it and all this stuff
and then we remembered we all have E-MAIL! HELLOOOO!!! Anyone
in there!!! =p (smacks ourselves on the forehead)
Again, just wanted to say thanks, we like you style
(it makes the stuff funnier sometimes!), and Chau really likes
the way you interpret a phrase as "Oh shoot" instead
of "shit" in certain cases. But that doesn't have to
do with anything."
Anywho, your work is wonderful, we couldn't appreciate
it enough. Really, we should tape ourselves watching Fushigi
Yuugi. We're falling all over the place and just messing around,
AAAHHH, we took totally stupid! Yikes! We have so much fun though,
where its totally comfortable and it's more entertaining than
movies and . . . wait a minute! That would be embarrassing! For
some reason that seems spelled wrong. Oh well. ="
You don't have to reply, we know you're hecksa freakin
busy, so it's cool. ^_^
